Resumen
Since a long time, Translation has been of great usefulness to man, to meet important needs in his life.
By time, it has a place in languages classes, and its field filled many researches. In this work, we
looked for the translation in French class as a foreign language. We aim to clarify its role in the
interaction and productivity of the meaning in didactics of the literary text. The problem of the
research resulted from the difficulties faced in French class as a foreign language: How does
translation contribute to reach the meaning for learners who face difficulties in didactics the literary
text? And we concluded that the school translation has its own characteristics and it also has great
contributions to the good progress and productivity of the meaning in didactics of the literary text.
