Influencia del género en la actitud ante la ciencia y la tecnología: la influencia del género en el perfil actitudinal del alumnado ante la Ciencia y la tecnología en centros educativos

Abstract

El presente trabajo investiga la influencia del género en el perfil actitudinal del alumnado ante la ciencia y tecnología, estudio realizado en la Escuela de Arte de Motril “Palacio Ventura”, centro público donde se imparten enseñanzas post-obligatorias de Bachillerato y Ciclos Formativos. Para ello, se elaboró un cuestionario basado en el proyecto ROSE que cumplimentaron los estudiantes del centro educativo. Los resultados se trataron con el programa SPSS y, mediante un análisis de la varianza, se comprueba la existencia de diferencias de género en chicas y chicos de distintos grupos de edad, apreciándose también una influencia del tipo de enseñanza en los resultados. Comparando con otros estudios realizados a estudiantes de un nivel educativo inferior, en un contexto y tipo de enseñanza distintos, se encuentran también numerosas coincidencias.

This paper investigates the influence of gender in the attitudinal profile of students regarding science and technology. The study has been carried out at "Palacio Ventura" Art School in Motril, which is a public school for post-compulsory college education and vocational education. For this, a questionnaire was made, based on the ROSE project, which the students at the school filled in. The results were treated with the SPSS program and, with a analysis of variance (ANOVA), the existence of gender differences in girls and boys from different age groups were shown, as well as an influence of the type of education could be seen in the results.
