La funcionalidad de la indumentaria en las actividades físicas artístico-expresivas de danza en España. Estudio comparativo entre diferentes niveles de tecnificación

Abstract

El objetivo general de este trabajo ha sido comprobar la funcionalidad del uso del vestuario escénico, en distintos niveles de tecnificación dancística, atendiendo al empleo de tejidos adecuados, a la adaptación al movimiento de los intérpretes y a la estética, desde la perspectiva de docentes y bailarines profesionales en España. La muestra fue aleatoria y representativa, formada por 49 profesores de los seis Conservatorios Profesionales de Danza de Andalucía (España) que impartían la asignatura de Talleres Coreográficos en las diferentes Especialidades de Danza (siendo la población de 126), con una media de edad entre 35 y 45 años; así como 23 integrantes del Ballet Nacional de España (de un total de 40), con una media de edad entre 25 y 35 años. Igualmente participaron cinco intérpretes y coreógrafos de reconocido prestigio internacional del ámbito de la Danza Española, seleccionados por conveniencia. Se ha realizado una triangulación metodológica combinando investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa. Para la recogida de datos se han empleado dos cuestionarios diseñados ad hoc y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Todos los instrumentos fueron validados por expertos. Como conclusión, se ha resaltado la importancia del uso del vestuario escénico para facilitar la ejecución de la danza y su aportación a la representación escénica.

The general aim of this work has been to test the functionality of the use of stage costumes at different levels of technical skill, taking into account the use of appropriate fabrics, the adaptation to the movement of the performers and aesthetics, from the perspective of professional teachers and dancers in Spain. The sample was random and representative, made up of 49 teachers of the six Professional Dance Conservatories of Andalusia (Spain) who taught the subject Choreographic Workshops in the different Dance Specialities (being the universe of 126 teachers), and an average age between 35 and 45 years; and 23 members of the National Ballet of Spain (of a total universe of 40), with an average age of between 25 and 35. We also had the benefit of five internationally renowned performers and choreographers selected for convenience. A methodological triangulation has been carried out combining qualitative and quantitative research. Two questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were used, both instruments validated by experts. As a conclusion, the importance of the use of stage costumes to facilitate the execution of the dance and its contribution to stage performance has been highlighted.
