R+S Experimental Printmaking: Carpeta de Obra Gráfica

Abstract

El proyecto R+S Experimental Printmaking, es un proyecto de investigación y experimentación que toma forma como una carpeta de obra gráfica en colaboración entre el Taller de Serigrafía de Christian M. Walter y el Proyecto de Investigación Artes Gráficas y Nuevas Tecnologías de la Universidad de Granada dentro del programa PROYECTOS DE EXCELENCIA DE I+D+i de la Dirección General de Investigación y Transferencia del Conocimiento de la Junta de Andalucía. La carpeta está editada en las instalaciones de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Granada y el Taller de Serigrafía de Christian M. Walter. La carpeta contiene la obra gráfica de 17 artistas experimentando con la risografía y la serigrafía. El proyecto pone de manifiesto el espíritu de investigación y conocimiento desde la práctica del arte. La creatividad se pone al servicio de las infinitas posibilidades gráficas propuestas por los artistas que participan en esta edición. Cada estampa supone un nuevo reto técnico que nos enfrenta a la búsqueda de nuevas soluciones formales y estéticas. Una ocasión para visibilizar un extenso grupo de obras en las que se vinculan la imagen tecnológica y los tradicionales y nuevos sistemas de impresión. La carpeta se expondrá en la VIII edición de la Feria del Libro de Artista de Castilla y León LIBRARTE, los días 3, 4 y 5 de mayo de 2024.

The R+S Experimental Printmaking project is a research and experimentation project that takes the form of a portfolio of graphic works, a collaboration between the Christian M. Walter Screen Printing Workshop and the Graphic Arts and New Technologies Research Project at the University of Granada, within the framework of the R&D&I Excellence Projects program of the General Directorate of Research and Knowledge Transfer of the Regional Government of Andalusia. The portfolio was produced at the facilities of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada and the Christian M. Walter Screen Printing Workshop. It contains the graphic works of 17 artists experimenting with risography and screen printing. The project highlights the spirit of research and knowledge through artistic practice. Creativity is placed at the service of the infinite graphic possibilities proposed by the participating artists. Each print presents a new technical challenge, pushing us to seek new formal and aesthetic solutions. It is an opportunity to showcase a wide range of works that link technological imagery with traditional and new printing systems. The portfolio will be exhibited at the 8th edition of the Castilla y León Artist Book Fair LIBRARTE, on May 3, 4 and 5, 2024.
