Epidemiology learning in the study of outbreaks can be challenging for students. The use of innovative methodologies could facilitate understanding the subject and help visualizing its usefulness and importance. For this reason, a game-like learning activity has been designed that simulates a COVID-19 outbreak and that aims to help students to learn concepts related to the epidemiology of communicable diseases.
