Una pandemia silenciosa: la perspectiva de los jóvenes ante el bullying

Abstract

El bullying o acoso escolar es una de las problemáticas más relevantes en todo el mundo, siendo está la que más afecta a los jóvenes. A través del empleo de una metodología cualitativa, la investigación estudia la perspectiva que poseen los jóvenes ante el acoso escolar mediante el uso de entrevistas como procedimiento para recopilar la información poniendo énfasis en el concepto de acoso, su experiencia, así como el papel de los docentes y los ámbitos de mejora ante esta problemática. Los resultados obtenidos manifiestan la afectación del bullying en la vida de los implicados al igual que una concienciación y actuación insuficiente ante este desafío.

Abstract: Bullying or school harassment is one of the most relevant problems worldwide, being the one that most affects young people. Through the use of a qualitative methodology, the research studies the perspective that young people have on bullying through the use of interviews as a procedure to collect information, emphasizing the concept of bullying, their experience as well as the role of teachers and the areas for improvement in the face of this problem. The results obtained show the impact of bullying on the lives of those involved as well as insufficient awareness and action in the face of this challenge.
