dc.description.abstractProtozoan parasites of the Trypanosomatidae family cause severe diseases like Human African Trypanosomiasis, Chagas disease, and Leishmaniasis. Despite existing molecular assays for detection and monitoring, limitations persist. We introduce a novel molecular assay combining dynamic chemistry DNA analysis with MALDI-ToF mass spectrometry, allowing rapid identification and differentiation of Trypanosomatid species with singleplex PCR. This innovative approach enhances diagnostic capabilities and therapeutic monitoring for these diseases.es_ES
