El gestor deportivo de centros fitness privados de Andalucía

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el perfil del gestor deportivo de centros fitness privados de Andalucía (España) y compararlo con los gestores deportivos municipales de esta misma región. Para ello, se validó un cuestionario utilizado para el estudio de los gestores deportivos municipales, adaptándolo al sector privado. La muestra está compuesta por 110 gestores, de los que 83 eran hombres y 27 mujeres, con una edad media de 37 años (M=37,64; DT=8,53). Se realizaron análisis estadísticos en función de la edad y el género de las variables tipo de contrato, máximo nivel de estudios y titulación, antigüedad en el puesto actual y pertenencia a colectivos profesionales. Los principales resultados resaltan diferencias con el gestor municipal en género, máximo nivel de estudios, titulación y antigüedad en el puesto actual. Este estudio encuentra sin embargo grandes similitudes con otros estudios similares del sector privado de otras comunidades.

The aim of this study was to determine the profile of managers of private fitness centres in Andalusia (Spain) and compare it with the municipal sports managers of the same region. For this, a questionnaire used for the study of municipal sports managers was validated, adapting it to the private sector. The sample consisted of 110 managers, 83 male and 27 female, with an average age of 37 years (M=37,64; SD=8,53). Statistical analyzes were carried out based on the age and gender of the variables type of contract, highest level of studies and qualifications, seniority in the current position and membership in professional groups. The main results highlight differences with the municipal manager in gender, highest level of studies and qualifications and seniority in the current position. This study found many similarities with other similar studies from the private sector in other regions.
