Mystic Catventure: desarrollo de un videojuego en pixel art

Abstract

Este proyecto consiste en la creación de un videojuego indie denominado Mystic Catventure, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones de un pequeño equipo de desarrollo. Se ha desarrollado el apartado artístico completo: diseño, animaciones y niveles, mientras que la programación ha sido realizada por una estudiante de Grado Superior en Desarrollo de Aplicaciones Multiplataforma. Mystic Catventure pertenece al género de aventura y está rodeado de una ambientación de carácter fantástico. La parte artística está basada en una estética pixel art de 16x16 con vista cenital y recoge una esencia nostalgia que recuerda el comienzo de la industria del videojuego.

ABSTRACT: This project consists of the creation of an indie video game called Mystic Catventure, taking into account the limitations of a small development team. The complete artistic section has been developed: design, animations and levels, while the programming has been carried out by a Higher Degree student in Multiplatform Application Development. Mystic Catventure belongs to the adventure genre and is surrounded by a fantastic setting. The artistic part is based on a 16x16 pixel art aesthetic with a top view and gathers a nostalgic essence that recalls the beginning of the video game industry.
