Algunos apuntes farmacológicos contenidos en el Kitab muyarrabat S. S. de Abu l’Ala Zuhr

Abstract

Este artÍCulo recoge la transcripción, traducción y edición de los folios 96r., 96v., 97r. y 97v. del Kitiib muyarrabiit al-jawa s.s. de Abü l-'Ala' Zuhr, según el manuscrito árabe 520 de la Biblioteca Bodleian de Oxford, e incluye las peculiaridades y características de la mosqueta yerva, el narciso, el serpol, el nenúfar, la menta, el nitro, el amoníaco, el arnmi, la cal y la nafta. El texto, como la obra en general, posee grandes dosis de curanderismo.

This article contains the transcription, translation and edition of the folios 96r., 96v., 97r. y 97v. of Abü l'Alü' Zuhr's Kitiib muyarrabat al-jawa s.s., according to the 520th. Arabic manuscript from Bodleian Library in Oxford and encloses the peculiarities and features of the mosqueta yerva, the narcissus, the wild thyme, the water lily, the mint, the nitre, the ammoniac, the ammi, the lime and the naphtha. The text, as well as the work in the whole, holds a big dose of quackery.
