dc.description.abstractThe Online Learning Environment and its Relationship to the Self, Efficacy, Social Presence and Satisfaction of the Freshman University Students aimed to describe the students’ perception based on their online learning experiences as it relates to their social presence and self-efficacy as factors in their satisfaction with online learning. Data revealed that generally, the students have a very high level of self-efficacy, particularly around Persistence followed by Perceived Control, and Self- Learning while Competence has a high level. Regarding Sex and Self-Efficacy, it was disclosed generally no significant difference, however, in terms of paying attention during synchronous classes and confidence during exams, there is a tendency to favor female students. As for the Social Presence, it was found that in terms of comfortability in interacting, there has a significant difference, alongside, a significant difference was also noted as students found that the communication in online classes was impersonal. Nonetheless, students perceived a high level of sense of being in and belongingness. While the level of satisfaction, the majority of the students Agreed that their online learning experiences are Satisfactory. While the Satisfaction and Type of Internet Connectivity; a significant relationship was found between the students’ overall online learning satisfactiones_ES
