Diversidad funcional y tecnologías en el ámbito educativo: Análisis del estado del arte

Abstract

La interacción existente entre las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) y la diversidad funcional en el ámbito educativo hace necesaria una investigación, que clarifique la relación entre ambas, el presente estudio realiza una revisión sistemática de la literatura utilizando datos en abiertos, publicados en las bases de datos Dialnet y Web of Science (WOS). Se ha empleado el método PRISMA y el período temporal de análisis de las investigaciones fue entre 2010 y 2022. La selección definitiva es de 11 artículos. Los resultados indican que estamos ante un campo de estudio relativamente nuevo, aunque a su vez está poco desarrollado. No obstante, en los últimos años su producción científica ha aumentado considerablemente lo que hace pensar que será un campo novedoso de estudio y de interés para mejorar la praxis educativa. Comprobamos la necesidad de mayores esfuerzos en acciones formativas que deben ir dirigidas especialmente a trabajar la diversidad funcional ya que el profesorado manifiesta no tener competencias suficientes para trabajar en sus aulas. Así mismo, podemos afirmar la gran importancia que tienen la revisión de los entornos virtuales de enseñanza aprendizaje y aplicaciones para saber si se garantizan las condiciones mínimas de accesibilidad y usabilidad para este tipo de alumnado.

Abstract: The existing interaction between Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and functional diversity in the educational field calls for research to clarify the relationship between the two. The present study conducts a systematic review of the literature using open data published in the Dialnet and Web of Science (WOS) databases. The PRISMA method was used and the time period of analysis of the research was between 2010 and 2022. The final selection is of 11 articles. The results indicate that this is a relatively new field of study, although at the same time it is underdeveloped. However, in recent years its scientific production has increased considerably, which suggests that it will be a novel field of study and of interest for improving educational praxis. We have seen the need for greater efforts in training actions that should be especially aimed at working with functional diversity, since teachers state that they do not have sufficient competencies to work in their classrooms. Likewise, we can affirm the great importance of reviewing virtual teaching and learning environments and applications to know if the minimum conditions of accessibility and usability are guaranteed for this type of students.
