Abstract

Andrés Neuman da vida con su novela Fractura a una historia de pérdidas, amores, reconstrucción y cicatrices de la memoria de un hombre que se enfrenta al olvido. Cuatro mujeres reconstruyen los recuerdos del protagonista a través de las entrevistas de un periodista. Los testimonios constituyen el eslabón que conecta las partes de un puzle de piezas rotas, que aluden a la memoria narrada desde las perspectivas de las mujeres de su vida. Neuman establece una concatenación de testimonios aportados por las voces femeninas, que se integran para sumergir al lector en la biografía del protagonista. Para ello, las voces femeninas dibujan los escenarios más representativos de un sobreviviente de la bomba atómica de Fukushima. La historia transcurre entre las dicotomías planteadas por el autor en torno a los episodios de amor y dolor, vida y muerte, juventud y vejez, claridad y oscuridad, pasado y presente, memoria y olvido.
