dc.description.abstract | Resumen:
| es_ES |

Introduction: The current crisis due to COVID-19 is affecting Education, and especially Physical Education since we find greater physical inactivity and sedentary lifestyle in the population. Numerous studies have found a beneficial relationship between physical activity and the psychological effects of COVID-19. Aim: Analyze the influence of COVID-19 on active student-centered methodologies in Physical Education classes. Methods: 3 teachers from the aforementioned area, aged between 39 and 48 years, participated in the present study. The subjects were interviewed through a battery of questions validated by three doctors in the field. A descriptive study that was designed to correlate the influence of COOVID-19 on Education. Results & discussion The analysis of the results obtained through the interview with three teachers in the area of Physical Education inform us that COVID-19 has had a great influence on Education and more in depth with Physical Education, having to stop using certain methodologies of teaching. Conclusions: Without a doubt, the findings of our study and the extrapolations on the influence of COVID-19 and previous studies allow us to conclude that this pandemic is affecting the educational field and above all, our area, Physical Education. | es_ES |
