La percepción de los estudiantes de magisterio sobre las altas capacidades

Abstract

Esta investigación se apoya en una revisión teórica sobre los cambios acaecidos en la concepción del término de las altas capacidades, el recorrido legislativo de la atención educativa a los mismos a nivel nacional. Asimismo, también se tratan las percepciones de distintos autores sobre la escasa formación inicial sobre el alumnado con altas capacidades que reciben los futuros docentes. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las percepciones que los estudiantes de cuarto curso de los Grados Universitarios de Magisterio en Educación Infantil y Primaria de la Universidad de Zaragoza reportan acerca de la formación inicial que han recibido y presentan para dar una respuesta educativa acorde a las necesidades del alumnado con altas capacidades que se van a encontrar en su futuro profesional. A partir de una muestra de 369 estudiantes que cursan el último curso de Magisterio, se analizan en términos de porcentajes los datos obtenidos una vez aplicado el cuestionario. Los resultados reflejan la existencia de diferencias en dichas percepciones en función de las especialidades elegidas (Menciones) y, consecuentemente, la necesidad de una formación más amplia en atención específica al alumnado con altas capacidades desde la Universidad.

This investigation be based on theoretical revision over the changes happened of the high-capacity term, the legislative itinerary of the educative attention at the level national. Also, is about the perceptions of different authors about the scarce initial training about the high-capacity students that the futures teachers receive. The objective of this article is to analyze the perceptions that the students of the fourth grade to the Degrees of Teaching of the Zaragoza´s University report about the initial formation that they are received and they considered that present for offered an educational response destined to attend the necessities of students with high intellectual capacities, that they will find in their future labor. From a sample of 369 students, that study the last grade of the teaching studies, the results obtained are analyzed in terms of percentages once the questionnaire that was previously adapted for this study, is applied. The results indicate the existence of differences in these perceptions according to specialties chosen and, consequently, the need for a broader training in the subject of specific attention to high intellectual capacity students from the university.
