Abstract
Este trabajo pretende señalar que los denominados ídolos
o representaciones escultóricas exentas, las figuras presentes
en detenninadas sepulturas (pintadas, incisas o en
relieve) y los mismos contenedores de estas representaciones
tienen una profunda conexión con los rituales destinados
a la defensa de la organización social, ya sea como
justificación de la propiedad de determinados elementos o
del territorio en su conjunto, o de la relación entre hombres
y mujeres o de la relación entre los distintos grupos. Esto se
manifiesta a partir de la comparación con otros tipos de rituales
estudiados en el sur de la Península Ibérica y presentes
en gran parte de Europa y que implican la inhumación
de animales y personas, a veces en asociación. Por otra
parte la dispersión de los monumentos o su concentración
junto a detenninados poblados se relaciona con el control
del territorio y la afirmación de la capitalidad de determinados
poblados, Por ello todos estos aspectos sólo pueden incluirse
en el marco de una "religiosidad" prehistórica si definimos
cuál era el objetivo de esas manifestaciones rituales
y como, con el tiempo, cada uno de los elementos implicados
pudo convertirse en la representación, más o menos directa,
de una divinidad, o de alguno de sus atributos. L'argomento trattato in questo lavoro riguarda la relazione
che gli idoletti, le sepolture e le figure (di pinte, incise o in
relievo) presenti in queste ultime, hanno con i rituali utilizzati
per la difesa dell'organizzazione sociale, sia come giustificazione della proprieüi di certi elementi o del territorio
stesso, sia della relazione tra uomini e donne o tra diversi
gruppi. Questo viene dimos trato, anche, attraverso la comparazione
con altri tipi di rituali studiati nel sud della Penisola
Iberica e presenti in gran parte d'Europa, nei quali, a
volte, s' incontrano inumazioni di animali e persone. La dispersione
delle sepolture o la loro concentrazione presso i
villaggi si relaziona con il controllo del territorio e dimostra
il ruolo (primario o secondario) che ricoprono gli insediamenti
ai quali si associano. Percio tutti questi aspetti non
possono essere inclusi in una "religiosita" preistorica se non
si definisce l' obiettivo di queste manifestazioni rituali e,
come, con il tempo, ognuno di questi eIementi e diventato
la rappresentazione, piil o meno reale, di una divinita, o di
qualche suo attributo.
