Las ilusiones perdidas. Subjetividades de la derrota en las narrativas de Diego Zúñiga y Canek Sánchez Guevara

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende un diálogo entre las narrativas de dos autores que dan cuenta de la derrota –entendida en el sentido avelariano de un tiempo caído que no permite lecturas a través de la epopeya y la exaltación de los sujetos– de dos procesos revolucionarios: el de la Unidad Popular en Chile y el de la Revolución cubana, esto mediante la construcción de la entidad textual “sujeto”. A través de autores teóricos como Idelber Avelar, Leonor Arfuch, Jorge Fornet y Odette Casamayor, entre otros, se leerá cómo las narrativas de Diego Zúñiga (Iquique, Chile, 1987) y Canek Sánchez Guevara (La Habana, 1974-Ciudad de México, 2015), este último nieto del Che Guevara, evidencian una “topografía de la derrota” mediante la categoría de los sujetos desilusionados y descreídos que construyen.

The present article seeks a dialogue between the narratives by two authors that embody the defeat –understood in the Avelarian sense of a fallen time that does not allow readings through the epic and the exaltation of the subjects– of two revolutionary processes: The Unidad Popular in Chile and the Cuban Revolution, this through the construction of the textual entity “subject”. The narratives by Diego Zúñiga (Iquique, Chile, 1987) and the writer and grandson of Che Guevara, Canek Sánchez Guevara (Havana, 1974-Mexico City, 2015) will be read through theoretical authors such as Idelber Avelar, Leonor Arfuch, Jorge Fornet and Odette Casamayor, among others to understand how they reveal a “topography of defeat” through the category of disillusioned and disbelieving subjects that they construct.
