La Estrategia de Integración Educativa en los países del CAB: desafíos y oportunidades

Abstract

El artículo resalta el compromiso de una Organización de Integración que da respuesta a los problemas educativos de la región, tratando de potenciar la acción social-educativa como un reto. La estrategia de integración educativa es una herramienta creada para resaltar las fortalezas y debilidades de tres componentes que se consideran fundamentales para la mejora de un sistema educativo: los recursos educativos, el currículo y la formación inicial de los docentes. Desde esta perspectiva, se sentaron voluntades políticas de las naciones integrantes del CAB para tratar de llegar a consensos que permitan, al menos en estos países, dictar políticas públicas que logren elevar la formación de los docentes desde una formación básica en todos los centros formadores. El resultado, solo el tiempo lo podrá demostrar.

The article highlights the commitment of an Integration Organization that responds to the educational problems of the region, trying to promote educational social action as a challenge. The educational integration strategy is an initiative full of challenges and great opportunities focused on three components that are considered fundamental for the improvement of an educational system: educational resources, the curriculum, and initial teacher training. From this perspective, political wills of the CAB member nations were established to reach consensus and build criteria that allow, at least in these countries, to dictate educational policies in an articulated manner between the aforementioned components to raise the quality of student learning, the efficient use of educational resources and having teachers with a solid teacher training.
