El TFM realiza un repaso sobre la historia del derecho al aborto en España (bloque 1),
y lo hace desde la historiografía feminista, trazando una genealogía del derecho a la
interrupción voluntaria del embarazo que parte desde los inicios del siglo XIX hasta el año
2019. El trabajo cuenta una parte de la historia de las mujeres y lo hace poniendo el acento en
el control y opresión que sufren las mujeres a través de sus cuerpos. Elabora una
reconstrucción de aquellos instrumentos legales (leyes, decretos, acuerdos de gobierno, etc.) y
de los instrumentos sociales (las luchas de los movimientos feministas, los ataques y
reacciones de los movimientos antiabortistas, y algunos procesos judiciales) que han
condicionado el derecho al aborto ya sea positiva o negativamente. La investigación apunta a
las negativas consecuencias que conlleva la prohibición del aborto y a su total ineficacia a la
hora de reducir el numero de abortos voluntarios.
En el caso de estudio (bloque 2) se examina la relación existente entre el Gobierno de
la Región de Murcia y algunas fundaciones privadas antiabortistas, concretamente la
fundación Red Madre, la cual forma un pilar clave del movimiento provida en la Región de
Murcia. Se analiza la relación existente entre estos dos actores políticos, mostrando la
influencia que ejercen sobre el derecho de las mujeres a su libre autodeterminación. Para ello,
se investigan los discursos y prácticas biopolíticas de estos dos actores, demostrando como
estigmatizan, criminalizan y traumatizan el aborto voluntario. El trabajo expone como el
Gobierno de la Región de Murcia apoya la visión Red Madre, una visión neofundamentalista
provida, con la cual se obstaculizan los derechos y libertades sexuales y reproductivas de la
mujeres, ocasionando una discriminación de las mujeres. El TFM indaga en las posibles
formas de luchar contra las amenazas que plantea el movimiento antiabortista en la
actualidad.
