Tres Tesis sobre el Tercero. Repensando la Formación Docente

Abstract

Este ensayo defiende la necesidad de un cambio profundo en las políticas y prácticas de formación docente, en un momento de metamorfosis de la escuela y, también, de metamorfosis del trabajo docente. Esto requiere superar las dicotomías que han bloqueado la formación del profesorado: ¿universidades o escuelas? ¿Conocimiento pedagógico o conocimiento de asignaturas? ¿Vocación o profesión? Así, se avanzan Tres tesis sobre el tercero, defendiendo la necesidad de valorar: i) un tercer lugar institucional; ii) un tercer género de conocimiento; iii) una tercera presencia colectiva.

This essay defends the need for a deep change in teacher education policies and practices. And that, at a time of school metamorphosis and, also, of teacher job metamorphosis. It aims to overcome three dichotomies that have blocked teacher education i) universities or schools? ii) pedagogical knowledge or subject knowledge? vocation or profession? Thus, with Three theses about the third, it is defending the need to value: i) a third institutional place, ii) a third kind of knowledge, and, iii) a third collective presence.
