T: This project is mainly focused on the creation of a series of ten GIF animations that combine both traditional (such as watercolors, gouache and collage, among others) and digital techniques. These animations are inspired by a selection of micropoems written by Spanish poet Ajo. These GIFs are presented alongside the micropoem each of them was inspired by in the format of an electronic book, in which on top of the image and the word components, sound has also been included. One of the aims of this work was to acknowledge the role that the image can have in not only accompanying, but also complementing the written word, poetry in this particular case. At the same time, both the elements that were taken for this project – GIF and micropoetry – are very representative of the new way of consumption of the artistic expression, very quick and based on social media, that exists nowadays.es_ES
