Estudio de la presencia de la estadística en libros de 3º y 4º cursos de ESO a través del análisis de su macroestructura

Abstract

Batanero (2001) advertía que los temas de estadística se suelen dejar para el final del curso y otras veces se omite su enseñanza. En este artículo se van a plantear dos objetivos: verificar si efectivamente la Estadística siempre está al final de los libros, y estudiar cuánto espacio ocupa la misma en los libros de texto de 3º y 4º de ESO. Estos dos objetivos abren campo a una interesante pregunta: de verificarse esta situación ¿está influida la enseñanza de la estadística en las escuelas por la posición que ocupa en los libros de texto y el espacio que le otorgan?

Batanero (2001) warned that statistics are usually left to the end of the course and other times its teaching is omitted. In this article we set two objectives: to verify if the statistics content is always located at the end of the books, and to study how much space is devoted in textbooks of 3rd and 4th degree of ESO in the textbooks. These two objectives open the field to an interesting question: if this situation is verified, is the teaching of statistic in schools influenced by the position it occupies in the textbooks and the space devoted to the topic?
