El Yo del diario literario: apuntes para una fundamentación teórica

Abstract

Este artículo examina el papel del Yo como elemento nuclear del diario personal interpretado desde la literatura. El diario literario es un texto que desarrolla unos componentes narrativos analizables desde una perspectiva teórica. Entre ellos, destaca el Yo como elemento configurador y personaje protagonista de la narración. El Yo del diario literario, como el de la autobiografía, tiene una correspondencia referencial con el/la sujeto autor/a al mismo tiempo que genera una independencia textual, hasta el punto de que puede ser leído como un personaje ficcional. Esto propicia, en última instancia, que se sitúe en la frontera entre la literatura y la historia, entre lo referencial y lo ficcional. Por tanto, desde una perspectiva teórico-literaria, y a partir de las teorías de la autobiografía y del sujeto, este trabajo propone una aproximación al Yo que ayude a definir su papel en la naturaleza literaria del diario literario.

This paper studies the role of the Self as an element of the personal diary interpreted from the literature. The literary diary is a text that develops a narrative discourse. In this text, the Self stands out as a configurator of the narration. The Self of the literary diary, like the autobiographical Self, has a referential correspondence with the subject author at the same time as it develops a textual independence, to the point that it can be read as a fictional character. This Self is situated on the frontier between literature and history, between the referential discourse and the fictional discourse. Therefore, from a theoreticalliterary perspective, this paper proposes an approximation to the Self of the literary diary to define its role in a literary context.
