Actitudes y percepción social del alumnado de posgrado de la Universidad de Granada en Melilla hacia la cultura judía en un contexto multicultural

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se ha realizado una investigación a través de una metodología cuantitativa, con un estudio ex post facto de tipo descriptivo e inferencial con el objetivo de conocer, desde su diversidad cultural, las actitudes, opiniones y conocimiento hacia la cultura judía (entendida como judaísmo, es decir, la forma de vida de aquellos que profesan la religión hebrea) de los estudiantes de másteres universitarios de la Universidad de Granada en el Campus de Melilla analizando qué factores se relacionan con dicho conocimiento y actitudes. Aquellas personas que participaron mostraron una percepción y actitud moderada hacia la cultura judía, aunque si es algo destacable es que son algo menos moderadas las actitudes que muestran los alumnos de religión y cultura islámica pues son un poco más prejuiciosas que los no creyentes y cristianos de cultura europea, aunque todos muestran en general una actitud positiva frente a los judíos, no existiendo diferencias significativas entre los sexos, ni entre el alumnado de los diferentes másteres. Por otro lado, la mejor percepción la presentan los alumnos que se encuentran entre los 31 y 35 años; y, por último, no existen diferencias significativas según el estado civil. Las personas que conocían a judíos obtuvieron puntuaciones significativamente menores de prejuicio que las que informaron no conocerles.

In the present work a research has been carried out through a quantitative methodology, with an ex post facto study of descriptive and inferential type with the objective of knowing, from its cultural diversity, the attitudes, opinions and knowledge towards the Jewish culture (understood As Judaism, that is, the way of life of those who profess the Hebrew religion) of the students of university masters of the University of Granada in the Campus of Melilla analyzing what factors are related to this knowledge and attitudes. Those who participated showed a moderate perception and attitude towards the Jewish culture, although if it is something remarkable is that they are somewhat less moderate the attitudes that show the students of religion and Islamic culture since they are a little more prejudiced than the nonbelievers and Christians of European culture, although all show in general a positive attitude towards the Jews, not existing significant differences between the sexes, nor between the students of the different masters. On the other hand, the best perception is presented by students between the ages of 31 and 35; And, finally, there are no significant differences according to the marital status. People who knew Jews scored significantly lower than those who reported not knowing them.
