Análisis de la relación entre el estrés y el autoconcepto en alumnado de primaria

Abstract

El estrés es uno de los problemas que puede existir en muchas personas. El objetivo de este estudio es realizar una evaluación de la relación que puede haber entre el estrés y el autoconcepto en niños y niñas de sexto de educación primaria. Se utilizaron cómo instrumentos el Inventario de Estrés Cotidiano Infantil (IECI) y el AF-5. Autoconcepto Forma 5. Participaron de forma individual 100 niños y niñas de sexto de primaria (con una M= 11,39 años y una DT= 0,54), de dos centros escolares de la provincia de Granada. Los datos se analizaron usando la prueba de T de Student y las correlaciones de Pearson. Los resultados mostraron que las niñas tienen un autoconcepto académico y familiar más alto que los niños y las correlaciones fueron significativamente positivas en el estrés y en el autoconcepto y significativamente negativas entre estrés y autoconcepto,

The stress is a problem that many persons have. The objetive this study is make an evaluation of the relationships between stress and self-esteem in boys and girls of sixth of primary education. It was used the instruments of the Inventory of Daily Stress in Children and the AF-5. Self-concept Form 5. One hundred boys and girls of sixth of primary education (M=11,39 years old and DT=0,54) participated individually in this study done in two schools in the province of Granada. The informations were analyzed using the proof of T de Student and the Pearson´s correlations. The results shown that girls have a higher academic and family self-concept than boys and the correlations were significantly positive in the stress and self-concept, and significantly negative between stress and self-concept
