Análisis Ontosemiótico de libros de texto chilenos: El caso del concepto de función

Abstract

En esta investigación identificamos los significados pretendidos por los textos escolares chilenos sobre la noción de función comparándolo con el significado holístico de referencia. La revisión de los libros de texto se hace debido a la importancia que estos adquieren para los profesores en la implementación de sus clases. Para llevar a cabo este estudio reconstruimos el significado holístico de referencia mediante una revisión de tipo histórico-epistemológico y determinamos los significados pretendidos por los textos escolares sobre la noción de función. El análisis se sustentó en las herramientas teóricas del enfoque ontosemiótico del conocimiento y la instrucción matemáticos. Este estudio permitirá tomar conciencia de la representatividad de los significados pretendidos por los libros de texto respecto del significado holístico de referencia del objeto matemático función.

In this research we identify the meanings intended by some Chilean school textbookss on the function concept with regards to the reference holistic meaning. The analysis of textbooks is carried out due to the importance they acquire for teachers in the implementation of their teaching. We reconstruct the reference holistic meaning through a historical-epistemological review and determine the meanings intended by school textbooks on the function concept. The analysis was based on the onto-semiotic approach of mathematical knowledge and instruction theoretical tools. This study will make possible to become aware of the representativeness of the meanings intended by textbooks regarding the reference holistic meaning of the mathematical object function.
