dc.description.abstract	This essay studies the Genoese presence in Malaga in the period immediately after the Christian conquest (1487-1501) using Iberian and Italian sources hitherto unknown and applying the prosopographic method to offer a new approach to a well-known subject. Thus, we get a new insight into the features of the Genoese community, two particular biographies are reconstructed, and the reprisal of navigation after the war is analysed, including new maritime strategies and connections.	es_ES
