Dialogue between the University and Popular Heritage

Abstract

Arab universities, as an educational knowledge institution, should engage in dialogue with themselves and with others; with themselves to achieve balance between members of Arab society, which is a human fabric with diverse customs and traditions; and with others to exchange ideas, information and experiences. Based on the above, the policy of Arab universities should be based on building bridges of dialogue and communication between all segments of society, and striving to open dialogue with folklore and heritage, especially popular heritage; research into this heritage is a civilized and authentic behavior.
