Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende analizar la evolución histórica del paisaje, así como conocer los aprovechamientos de la tierra y las sociedades que habitaron y trabajaron las tierras de la Vega de Granada y en especial las del Soto de Roma. El estudio se realizará desde el final del mundo antiguo hasta la época moderna, insistiendo sobre todo en el periodo medieval. El objeto del presente trabajo es hacer un estudio bibliográfico y de las fuentes históricas y arqueológicas, que han llegado hasta la actualidad y que nos permiten conocer la evolución histórica, social y paisajística de la Vega de Granada, presentando especial interés en el Soto de Roma y sus inmediaciones. Con este Trabajo Fin de Máster se pretende, también, hacer disponible un material histórico diverso para futuras investigaciones históricas.
