La fotografía de danza significante. Una nueva imagen en la cartelería del BNE

Abstract

Esta investigación se centra en el significado de la fotografía de danza para cartelería y publicidad del Ballet Nacional de España (BNE) realizada por el fotógrafo Manu Toro. Este proceso artístico aúna varias artes plásticas y escénicas en sí mismo y da información relevante tanto al público general como a los estudiantes, docentes y profesionales de la danza sobre el hecho escénico que representa. En este estudio, las fotografías de Manu Toro representan un nuevo discurso visual donde el significado de la fotografía es un breve resumen del programa o coreografía que representa, desarrollando un manual de estilo reconocible como una nueva imagen identificativa. Para realizar este trabajo se expone una propuesta metodológica que pretende analizar la fotografía desde el punto de vista de la danza, complementando el análisis de los personajes-bailarines y su significado narrativo en la escena mediante instrumentos basados en imágenes propias de la Investigación Educativa Basada en las Artes Visuales.

This research focuses on the meaning of dance photography por poster and advertising of the National Ballet of Spain (BNE) by photographer Manu Toro. This artistic process unites several visual and performing arts in itself and provides relevant information to the general public as well as to students, teacher and dance professionals about the stege event it represents.In this study, Manu Toro’s photographs represent a new visual discourse where the meaning of the photograph is a brief summary of the program or choreography it represents, developing a recognizable style manual as a new identifying image. To carry out this work, a methodological proposal is presented that aims to analyze photography from the point of view of dance, complementing the analysis of the characters-dancers and their narrative meaning on the scene through research instruments based on images of the Based Educational Research in the Visual Arts.
