La asociación entre «consumo de energía» y «derroche de energía» es una cuestión que está afectando negativamente a los creadores que utilizan la luz como medio expresivo. Sin embargo, hay que tener en cuenta que este tipo de creaciones pueden enfocarse desde la perspectiva del consumo responsable, e incluso promoviendo el ahorro energético. Esta presentación recoge los datos aportados por diversos Festivales de la Luz, mostrando su impacto energético y las acciones que están llevando a cabo para reducir su consumo.

The association between “energy consumption” and “energy waste” is an issue that is negatively affecting creators who use light as an expressive medium. However, it should be remembered that this type of creations can be approached from the perspective of responsible consumption, and even promoting energy saving. This presentation collects the data provided by various Light Festivals, showing their energy impact and the actions they are taking to reduce their consumption.
