The aim of the present work is to contribute to the study of use intention for tech‑ nologies related to the increasingly popular massive open online courses (MOOCs). Informed by a scientifc literature review, the work proposes a behavioral model to explain use intention via various constructs. The results of the analysis verify the efect of user perceived satisfaction and autonomous motivation as the strongest predictors of use intention. The analysis also shows that perceived satisfaction is afected by the quality of the course, its entertainment value and its usefulness. The latter variable is also a major factor in explaining user emotions. The study provides an original focus in the study of perceived satisfaction and MOOC use intention by extending the models proposed in previous published literature in this emerging feld.es_ES
