Análisis discursivo de la violencia filioparental: ámbito profesional y familiar

Abstract

En este artículo se presentan los resultados de una investigación cuyo objetivo ha sido conocer cómo se está construyendo socialmente el discurso sobre el fenómeno de la violencia filioparental en el ámbito familiar y profesional. Un análisis multifocal va a ayudar a profundizar en la comprensión de esta realidad social, que nos compromete desde el Trabajo Social. Para ello se ha utilizado un método cualitativo, concretamente el Análisis del Discurso desde la propuesta de Potter y Wetherell (1987), a partir de sus conceptos “construcción” y “repertorios interpretativos”. Se han entrevistado a diversos agentes implicados en este tipo de violencia tales como agresor, víctima y diferentes profesionales. Se obtienen tres repertorios interpretativos interrelacionados que contribuyen a la presentación social de este nuevo escenario familiar: “La enseñanza es la obligación de la escuela pero la educación es el privilegio de la familia”, “Despatologizar la violencia es cuestión de límites” y “El cóctel sin valores ni respeto”. Se comprueba que un modelo de educación basado en el aprendizaje significativo y en la empatía se convierte en una herramienta fundamental en la construcción de este fenómeno. Así, se cita la educación basada en valores empáticos como un recurso psicosocial emergente preventivo de la violencia filioparental.

This article presents the results of a research whose aim has been to know how the discourse on the phenomenon of child to parent violence is being built socially, in the family and professional fields. A multifocal analysis will help to delve in understanding of this social reality that implicate us from the Social Work. It has been applied a qualitative method of psychosocial orientation. Specifically, the discourse analysis based on the perspective of Potter & Wetherell (1987) and their concepts “construction” and “interpretative repertoires”. Several agents have been interviewed about this type of violence, such as aggressor, victim and different professionals. This way, three interpretative repertoires have been obtained, which are interrelated: “The teaching is responsibility of the school but the education is the privilege of the family”, “Depathologize the violence is a matter of limits" and “The cocktail without principles nor respect”. It is found that an educational model based on meaningful learning and empathy becomes an essential instrument in the construction of this phenomenon. Thus, an education based on empathetic values should be noted as an emerging psychosocial resource to prevent the violence from sons and daughters against their parents.
