Abstract

Con este Proyecto de Intervención se pretende que los alumnos de Educación Primaria, concretamente del quinto curso, lleguen a tener unas nociones básicas sobre el concepto de patrimonio, para que lo sepan reconocer en su propio barrio, en su propia ciudad, con el objetivo último de conservación, valoración y respeto de este. Se va a trabajar el patrimonio a partir de un barrio de gran interés cultural en la ciudad de Granada, “El Albayzín”, dónde se profundizará en diversos temas como son los siguientes: calles, plazas y miradores; el agua y sus aljibes; arquitectura doméstica; lugares de interés: monumentos y conjuntos; taracea; baños árabes. El Proyecto concluirá con la realización de un Itinerario Didáctico, para que los alumnos tengan la posibilidad de experimentar en vivo todos los conocimientos adquiridos, y lleguen a obtener un aprendizaje más significativo de patrimonio.

This project saw that year 5 Primary School students from the Inmaculada del Triunfo were able to gain a basic understanding of the heritage of the Albayzin, thus enabling them a deeper comprehension the district and city that they live in. The main aim was that they are able to better conserve and assign a value to this area. In this project, aimed at the heritage of the Albayzin, a district of great cultural interest situated in the city of Granada; we have explored topics such as: the streets, squares and view points, the water and its reservoirs, the domestic architecture, places of interest, monuments, hand made goods and the Arabic baths. The project ended with the realisation of a trip so that the students were able to see in real life all of the knowledge obtained in class, and that they will come to retain the specific information about what it means to have a heritage.
