Un recorrido por la poesía de Tomás Hernández Molina

Abstract

Tomás Hernández Molina es un autor ya maduro pero poco conocido. La razón es porque desde finales de los años setenta, cuando publica su primer poemario, hasta comienzos del siglo XXI, se ha mantenido en silencio. Poeta sin vida literaria, sin embargo, a partir de su reaparición ha desarrollado una intensa y brillante trayectoria, demostrando que posee un altísimo nivel lírico y emotivo, un conocimiento de la tradición y un manejo encomiable de los recursos del verso para tocar al lector. A través de un análisis textual de sus cinco libros publicados entre 2004 y 2009, y sus mejores poemas, hemos situado esta poesía de primera línea, destacando sus valores, subrayando sus temas, su estilo, etc., y elaborando un acercamiento riguroso que hasta ahora la crítica no había realizado.

Tomás Hernández Molina is an already mature yet little-known author. The reason for it is that since the late Seventies, when he published his first book of poems, and up to the beginning of the 21st Century, he kept the silence. Poet without a literary life, he has, nevertheless, since his re-appearance, developed an intense and brilliant path, proving he possesses a very high level of lyricism and emotion, a knowledge of the tradition and a commendable mastery of the verse as well as the means by which it can move the reader. Through a textual analysis of the 5 books he published between 2004 and 2009, and his best poems, we have situated this poetry in the first line, emphasizing his values, stressing his topics, his style, etc., and elaborating a very close and rigorous approach that until nowadays critics had never done.
