This comparative and descriptive study analyzes the effectiveness of an improvement plan that age carried out in a group of five young people with intellectual disability. The operation part of an educational unit adapted from mathematics, called "the exciting world of numbers and their operations", which was for three weeks and were various activities, especially visual in nature and manipulation. With a varied and participatory methodology is intended to achieve a progression at all levels (intellectual attitude and behavior, and competent), with three tests: Matching Familiar Figures Test-20 (MFFT-20), the Toulose-Piéron and the test of faces of L.Thurstone demonstrated that it is possible to control impulsivity, improve the reflexivity, increase the overall rating of attention and perception (IGAP), modify the concentration positively and enhance the speed and accuracy in the perception of the similarities and differences; as long as you create a didactic unit adapted to the educational needs and the characteristics of each subject. The limitations of this study were the time, space and the individual characteristics of the young people. Then he had a just enough time to carry out the tests, the interruptions were frequent, and more, at all times, it was necessary to take into account the desire that the subject had to carry out what is being proposed. 2015-07-20T01:35:17Z 2015-07-20T01:35:17Z 2015 info:eu-repo/semantics/article 2254-5883 http://hdl.handle.net/10481/37016 10.30827/Digibug.37016 spa ReiDoCrea;4 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/ info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 License Universidad de Granada
