Bolaño-Deleuze-Kafka. La expresión literaria en el devenir-animal

Abstract

Gilles Deleuze llegó a decir que el devenir-animal, concepto que explicaba la lógica fabulosa de la metamorfosis de Gregor Samsa en la escritura de Kafka, es «el objeto por excelencia del cuento». De esta afirmación se sustrae, por lo menos, dos ideas claves para entender el propio devenir del pensamiento filosófico (deleuziano) en relación con la literatura: 1. que la literatura, así como el arte en general, deja de ser un lugar destinado a la representación del hombre, de la vida o del mundo, para ser propiamente una fabulosa habitación (en el cuento) inéditamente vital y, 2. que es, precisamente, esa habitación en la fábula una crítica (desde el cuento) a los hábitos, ya sean estos políticos, culturales e, incluso, personales. La micropolítica deleuziana asociada a la literatura pone, de esta manera, en funcionamiento aquella idea de un arte productivo en la tensa relación entre lo mayor (poder establecido) y lo menor (resistencia poética). Dicho enfrentamiento desembocará en una transversalidad de eslabones semióticos de cualquier naturaleza (política, biológica, económica, cultural) y, por tanto, en una pluralidad en los regímenes de todo signo que confluye en la escritura literaria. Ahí el cuento es una pieza discursiva menor frente a la historia que se impone; ahí el animal es una vía de escape ante la opresión ideológica. Este trabajo describe, así, una escritura intermediaria que fluye en el trayecto Bolaño (“El policía de las ratas”)-Deleuze (Kafka. Por una literatura menor)-Kafka (La metamorfosis).

Gilles Deleuze went so far as to say that becoming-animal, the concept that explained the fabulous logic of Gregor Samsa's metamorphosis in Kafka's writing, is "the object par excellence of the short story". From this affirmation, at least two key ideas are subtracted in order to understand the very development of (Deleuzian) philosophical thought in relation to literature: 1. that literature, as well as art in general, ceases to be a place destined for the representation of man, of life or of the world, to be properly a fabulous room (in the tale) that is unprecedentedly vital, and, 2. that it is precisely this room in the fable a critique (from the tale) of habits, be they political, cultural or even personal. The Deleuzian micropolitics associated with literature thus puts into operation the idea of a productive art in the tense relationship between the greater (established power) and the lesser (poetic resistance). This confrontation will lead to a transversality of semiotic links of any nature (political, biological, economic, cultural) and, therefore, to a plurality in the regimes of all signs that converge in literary writing. There the story is a minor discursive piece in the face of the history that is imposed; there the animal is an escape route from ideological oppression. This work thus describes an intermediary writing that flows along the Bolaño ("The Rat Policeman")-Deleuze (Kafka. For a minor literature)-Kafka (The Metamorphosis) trajectory.
