Abstract
The objective of this research is to identify, analyse and contextualise the phenomenon of the identification of Andalusian rivers with allegories. It is a national and international phenomenon, which developed a series of iconographic particularities in Andalusia. Likewise, it is an issue that extended until the twentieth century.
