Resumen
This software has been implemented for teaching purposes as a component of the SeLa Teaching Project. It allows to simulate observations of a Bernoulli distribution. The process parameter can be specified in the 'model' pane located in the 'Process' tab..
This program has been conceived to illustrate:
(1) the frequentist approximation to the concept of Probability (consider the P-chart and different numbers of repetitions of the sampling); (2) the concept of confidence intervals. The intervals for each series of trials are given in the summary tab; (3) the random nature of the estimation of the proportion of positive cases; (4) the effect of sample size and confidence level on the accuracy of the confidence intervals.
