Résumé
This work shows the results of a study carried out in 2012 using preventative activities to improve the hearing health of teenagers in a secondary school in Granada (Spain). A total of 333 students, ranging from 12 to 17 years old, took part in this health program. The results suggest that including preventative programs in the school curriculum should be a requirement. Preventive programs for hearing health are poorly covered in textbooks, school curricula and health educations programs. The implementation of the already existing preventive programs requires adequiate publishing and distribution in channel known to teachers, such as educational journals, as well as an adequate awareness of society in general.
