Fuga a tres voces: evolución y tendencias del microrrelato brasileño

Abstract

Desarrollado a la par que las restantes tradiciones literarias latinoamericanas, el microrrelato brasileño llega a los días de hoy con un importante repertorio de obras y de autores. El presente trabajo muestra una visión de conjunto del microrrelato brasileño dividida en cuatro apartados. El primero, sobre los precedentes del microrrelato brasileño en sus dos expresiones particulares. El segundo apartado se dedica a los textos y autores que marcan la irrupción de una estética literaria abocada a lo mínimo, altamente elíptica y sugerente, surgida sobre todo a partir de los años 60 y consciente de la apertura de un nuevo modelo de lectoescritura. De esas primeras manifestaciones del microrrelato brasileño se despliegan las tres tendencias temáticas y formales del género actualmente, asunto que conforma la tercera sección del presente estudio. Por último, aportamos algunos ejemplos de autores que han llevado el microrrelato al entorno virtual y han aprovechado sus funcionalidades hipermediales.

Developed at the same time as other Latin American literary traditions, the Brazilian short short story has reached nowadays an important repertoire of works and authors. This paper presents an overview of the Brazilian short short story divided into four sections. The first one is about the precedents of this genre in Brazil in its two particular expressions. The second section highlights the works that mark the irruption of a new literary aesthetic and the opening of a new model of reading and writing. More minimalistic, these avant-garde proposals, emerged especially from the 1960s onwards, focus on the elliptical and suggestive senses of language. From these first manifestations, we'll see the three thematic and formal tendencies of the genre unfold today. The last section shows some works that explore the potential of the virtual environment and have taken advantage of hypermedia functionalities.
