Abstract
En este estudio analizo la imagen del perro en el AT y en la tradición judía posterior como parte de una herencia cultural, que se remonta a la concepción de los dioses-perro, los cultos caninos y las fórmulas terapéuticas del Oriente Próximo y que también se manifiesta entre sus vecinos griegos. In this paper I analyze the image of the dog in the OT and in the subsequent Jewish tradition as part of the cultural heritage. This image originates in the conception of dog-gods, canine cults and therapeutic formulae from the Near East, that are also found among their Greek neighbours.
