Hermeneútica targúmica de los topónimos en el Targum de Oseas, Joel, Amós y Abdías

Abstract

La Biblia Aramea, siguiendo el ejemplo del Texto Hebreo, con frecuencia interpreta los nombres de lugar que aparecen en el texto bíblico como nombres comunes, y así los traduce, los explica, y con este sistema hace que la toponimia se convierta en transmisora de un mensaje religioso de acuerdo al pensamiento teológico de cada una de las épocas en que fueron escritos los diversos Targumin. En el presente trabajo se examinan los topónimos que se traducen y comentan en el texto de los profetas Oseas, Joel, Amós y Abdías de la Biblia Aramea.

The Aramaic Bible, following the steps of the Hebrew Text, very often translates the names of places in the Biblical Text as common names; after the translation comes the explanation, and in that case the toponimy becomes a part of the religious message according to the theological thought, which reflects the Jewish theological thinking expressed in the several Targumin. In the present study we quote all the toponyms present in the Targum to the Prophets Oseah, Joel, Amos and Obadiah according to the Aramaic Bible.
