Abstract
El presente estudio trata del docente y del reconocimiento de su lugar en el proceso de enseñanzaaprendizaje. Se pone el foco en la búsqueda de las propias formas de aprender tanto del profesorado
como de los estudiantes. El objetivo es indagar en las experiencias de autoaprendizaje y analizar
cómo éstas pueden influir en el quehacer pedagógico. La metodología utilizada está enmarcada en un
enfoque de investigación narrativa, optando por un autoestudio con relatos de ambas autoras en su
rol como maestras de educación secundaria. Se especifica el proceso de acompañamiento a
estudiantes para que puedan identificar sus preferencias para aprender. Para el análisis se buscaron
elementos significativos que permitieran hilar un recorrido reflexivo. En conclusión, ponemos en el
centro el rol del docente como enseñante-aprendiz quien, bajo esa forma de estar, favorece las
condiciones para que el otro explore en sí mismo. Se otorga valor a la autoconciencia en las formas
de aprender y relacionarse con el saber tanto de los docentes como de los estudiantes, siendo el
autoestudio una herramienta para investigar y para abordar la formación del profesorado. The present study looks at the teacher’s role in the teaching-learning process. In this research, the
focus is set on finding out how teachers and students learn. The objective of the study is to enquiry
into the teacher’s self-learning experience and analyze how this can influence their pedagogical
work. The methodology used is a narrative inquire, opting for self-study with stories from both
authors, in their role as secondary school teachers. The process of accompanying students is
specified, so that they could identify their learning preferences. For the analysis, significant elements
were sought to create a reflective practice. In conclusion, we put in the centre the role of the teacher
as a learner who, under this way of being, favours the conditions for others to explore themselves.
Additionally, value is given to self-awareness in the ways of learning and relating to knowledge of
teachers and students, with self-study being a tool for researching and addressing teacher training.
