In the knowledge society there is a strong connection between the use of information and communication technologies, data protection and privacy, which must have a significant impact on education. The starting point of this communication is the need for training of educational agents and focuses on the preventive character in the responsible and safe use of data. It seeks to improve the digital competence of teachers in training. It is part of an educational strategy and the design-based research whose fundamental emphasises is the inclusion of digital security in subjects focused on educational technology and technology-based educational materials. The aim is to design a training model enhanced by technology that initially benefits two hundred undergraduate students in Education Sciences.
