Abstract
Sierra, Guanajuato o Macondo (sic). This work aims to recover the origins of panhispanism and to highlight
the copernican revolution in current studies represented by the change
from an eurocentric look, or northern spanish, to other varieties like the
spanish from America. We want to show the importance of the change of
mentality from the one linked to a restricted interpretation that explained
all the spanish from a single point of view or variety considered original and authentic, to an idea of the variations in spanish in conditions
of equality in all its manifestations, whether from Valladolid, Zahara de
la Sierra, Guanajuato or Macondo (sic).
