Significados personales sobre los contrastes de hipótesis en estudiantes de ingeniería

Abstract

Se presenta un estudio de las producciones sobre contrastes de hipótesis por estudiantes de estadística de las carreras de ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (Argentina). Se analizan los significados personales construidos por los estudiantes, cuyos datos fueron relevados a partir de la resolución de dos problemas que involucran distintos parámetros. Los significados personales identificados serán el punto de partida para la mejora de un diseño instruccional que considere la resolución de los conflictos semióticos detectados y enfatice los aspectos conceptuales de los contrastes de hipótesis.

This paper presents a study of the productions on hypothesis tests carried out by students of statistics from the engineering careers of the National University of Mar del Plata (Argentina). The personal meanings constructed by the students, whose data were surveyed based on the resolution of two problems involving different parameters are analyzed. The personal meanings identified will be the starting point to improve an instructional design that considers the resolution of the detected semiotic conflicts and emphasizes the conceptual aspects of the hypothesis tests.
