Discurso poético en 'El cielo sobre Berlín' de Wim Wenders

Abstract

La cuestión abordada en este artículo propone analizar la posible relación existente entre poesía y cine dentro del concepto de “intermedialidad”. Nos centraremos en las condiciones que definen la existencia de un cine de poesía, analizando en concreto la estructura y el discurso poético de la película El cielo sobre Berlín de Wim Wenders para tratar de demostrar la presencia de unas características discursivas muy distintas que podríamos denominar “poéticas” y que se contraponen al cine tradicionalmente considerado como narrativo.

The question that is being carried out in this article is about the possible existing relationship between poetry and cinema, inside the concept of “intermediality” between these two “sister arts”. We will try to focus on the conditions that define the possibility of the existence of a cinema of poetry or a poetic cinema, concretely analyzing the poetic structure and speech inside the movie Wings of Desire by Wim Wenders. The attempt is to demonstrate the presence of some discursive characteristics that are very different from a cinema defined as narrative, both from a point of view of style and content, and these ones, for that reason, would be defined as “poetic”.
