La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la adquisición de datos útiles sobre el estado de la piel, lo que permite la detección de tejido probable para ser quemado durante el tratamiento dermatológico convencional usando luz pulsada, preferiblemente IPL, o la luz de láser pulsado. La invención también se refiere a un dispositivo que comprende los medios necesarios para llevar a cabo dicho método.
