Las agrupaciones por sexos en clase de Educación Física dentro de un contexto multicultural

Abstract

RESUMEN: Con el presente estudio se pretende estudiar la relación entre la educación física y la segregación por sexos durante las clases en esta asignatura. El objetivo es intentar conocer las razones por las cuales, puede suceder este conflicto y encontrar alternativas metodológicas para tratar de abordarlo, además de valorar si tiene un influencia significativa o no el hecho de ser de diferentes culturas. Uno de los factores que se pretenden valorar son las dificultades en la interacción entre chicos y chicas en la práctica de actividades deportivas a edades tempranas, así como desde una perspectiva multicultural, que a su vez va relacionada con el tiempo que llevan juntos como compañeros de clase, valorando así esta variable como aspecto positivo en las agrupaciones mixtas. La investigación se centrará en los aspectos de relación y percepción que tiene el alumnado a la hora de trabajar con los compañeros del mismo sexo o del otro, y si también están influenciadas por la religión que profesan. Pretendemos conocer cómo se sienten y si hay diferencias significativas de estos factores dependiendo de los contenidos de la materia.

ABSTRACT: The aim of present study is to analyze the relationship between physical education and gender segregation during the lessons in this subject. The goal is to understand the reasons of why this conflict can occur and find alternative methodological approaches, and also to evaluate whether or not the fact of belonging to different cultures has a significant impact. A factor to evaluate is the difficulties within interactions between boys and girls in the practice of sports at an early age, as well as from a multicultural perspective, which also is related to the time they have been together as classmates, evaluating this way if this variable is a positive aspect in mixed groups. Research will focus on relationships and student´s perception aspects while working with same or different sex partners, and also if they are influenced by religion they profess. We are trying to understand how they feel and if there are significant differences of these factors according to the contents of the subject.
